Ultrasounds

We use a state-of-the-art ultrasound machine to look for problems in your pet’s abdomen. With this service we can assess the liver, spleen, kidneys, bladder, stomach and intestinal tract. Ultrasound is also useful in detecting pregnancies early on and monitoring fetal progress later on. The procedure is non-invasive and rarely requires sedation so it is very safe for your pet. Our skilled veterinarians and veterinary team will read your pet’s results and determine the best course of action.

Ultrasounds can either be performed at our hospital by our well-trained staff or, for more complicated cases, by board-certified traveling ultrasonographers with whom we have partnered. These specialists can come right to our hospital and provide this valuable service in an environment that both you and your pet are familiar and comfortable with.
